Body Movement & Communication (BM&C) Series
Curatorial Statement:
Gorman presents his photo documentation as an intimate conversation between the movement of a female form and her handbag. His series also speaks as a visual commentary reflecting on social status and identity among Chilean women. In his photographic examinations, he has found subtle differences in how women move their body position, while walking to accommodate their handbag. These subtle differences happening between body movement and purse placement create a visual dialogue.
Gorman is open to working with curators, galleries and museums with his photo series.
